Initial Evaluation

Start with clarity.

We take the time to understand what you’re experiencing, how it affects your movement and daily life, and what you want to get back to. Your first visit may include movement assessment, functional testing, education, and treatment planning to identify the factors that may be limiting you and create a clear path forward.

TARGETED TREATMENT

Blood Flow Restriction Training

Blood flow restriction training uses a calibrated cuff near the top of an arm or leg to partially limit blood flow while you exercise with light weight. The effect is that a much lighter load can produce a strength stimulus closer to what heavy lifting would normally be needed to reach.

That matters when heavy loading is not an option - early after surgery, around an irritable joint, or when pain limits how much you can put through a limb. It is often used to slow the strength loss that happens fastest in the first weeks after an injury or procedure.

Cuff pressure is measured for your limb rather than estimated, and flood flow restriction is not appropriate for everyone. Vascular history, blood pressure, medications and pregnancy are all screened before it is used, and it is one option inside a plan rather than a treatment on its own.
